Mass. Nursing Home Resident Kills Roommate

Posted on Monday, December 14th, 2009 at 9:10 am

A 98-year-old nursing home resident in Massachusetts has been indicted for the murder of her 100-year-old roommate, according to CNN. If you or someone you love has been the victim of nursing home abuse, the New Jersey eldercare abuse lawyers of Levinson Axelrod may be able to get you the compensation you deserve for your mistreatment.

According to reports, the 100-year-old woman was found dead on September 24 with a plastic bag tied around her head. The two roommates had apparently argued about the placement of an end table, with the victim demanding the table be moved. The alleged murderer lashed out at an attendant who moved the table. She will be analyzed later this month to determine if she is competent enough to stand trial.
