This past Sunday, the owner and sole employee of a construction business was killed in a tragic construction accident in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
According to officials, the 37-year old contractor was operating a small, Bobcat excavator at a home on Sunshine Circle when the vehicle suddenly threw him out of his seat. When the worker was ejected, he became trapped in between the machine and the home.
Airbags were used by emergency crews to lift the excavator off of the worker. Firefighters then began CPR on the man, but he had no pulse. The contractor was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Our thought and prayers are with the victim’s family and friends.
