In an Illinois nursing home, a 62-year-old felon has been charged with first degree murder after beating a 72-year-old fellow resident who was suffering from Dementia. A 98-year-old nursing home resident in Massachusetts has been indicted for the murder of her 100-year-old roommate, according to CNN. A man from Palo Alto, California is facing life in prison if he is convicted of sexually assaulting a 94-year-old resident of a nursing home facility. A nursing home aide working in Lufkin, Texas has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for repeated abuse of an elderly stroke victim in her care.
