The man who assaulted her was sentenced to eight years in prison. He was an illegal immigrant who worked as a dietary aid for the facility, authorities said, and he admitted to drinking on the job.

The facility’s corporation was also sued for falsifying employment documents and providing the man with unauthorized access to people’s rooms.
